The Iridescent Mountain dragon is cave dweller present throughout the rocky regions of the North West continent. The dragon is named for the scales that are under the fibrous hairs covering most of it's body. They make there nests in tight crevices to protect the leathery eggs from predators and the intense winds that are present in the mountains. Attentive parents, the females tend to the hatchlings bringing them fish, birds and small animals and will defend the juveniles until their fire develops. Adult males can grow up to six feet in length and weighs around 300 lbs.

This beautiful OOAK dragon egg by artist Kim Coombes is constructed from pleather, faux fur, steel pins and a polystyrene foam core (approx. 4.5" or 11.43cm in height). The eggs nest is made with genuine gemstones polished by the artist: labradorite (A stone of transformation, it's said to release insecurities and embrace change; it clears the mind and stimulates the imagination) and blue quartz (Promotes harmony and calming it's believed to help with communication, connection and clarity). The gemstones are affixed to a dense cardboard frame (approx. 1" or 2.54cm in height) and coated in epoxy resin.
