Description

The Crested Jewel-eyed Wyvern is a OOAK pose-able soft sculpture by artist Kim Coombes.
This plucky little juvenile Crested Jewel-eyed Wyvern is nearly half of his potential six foot length with an adult wing span of around seven feet. Found mostly in varying shades of shimmering taupe to white these wyverns are stunning and often compared to fine marble statues.
Crested Jewel-eyed Wyverns are opportunistic hunters but are particularly fond of fish and are frequently seen diving in many of the lakes in the south western continent. Their strong tight flame is ideal for striking fish several feet below the surface of the water and long toes with sharp claws are well suited for grabbing slippery prey!
Dutiful parents these wyverns mate for life and share in the tending of the young and defence of the nest. They make their homes out of saplings and young tree branches that they intricately weave to make hutches in densely wooded areas.
